Hi

What determines a high end raptor? Obviously it has to have two red eyes Correct?.obviously orange body.What other traits must it have?

I prefer snake eyes and deep orange coloration. Giant gene never hurts either ;) LOTS OF CARROT TAIL!!!!

I'm not trying to toot my horn but here is a good photo of one of my raptors. Its what you would consider a good example of a high end sample of the morph. No pattern, bright orange body and almost a complete carrot tail.

I prefer the jungle Raptors myself. The "pattern less" ones are just forcing the color and pattern off of the gecko--just look at the "whitesides"--they are headed towards the drab/washed out look in my opinion. I'll stick to the funky ones--like a graffitti artist went loco on your gecko :)

It depends on the temps you keep them at and the quality of the parents. Usually they are very pinkish orange when they come out then get a little oranger. Some fade though. So it really does depend on the parents too. Temps and blood line.
