rat with a dog

so ever since ive had rats my 4 year old retriever has just loved them. she first met my rat dylan when i got him when he was only 4 weeks old. so has anyone else had their rat meet another pet.

That's so cute! I'm jealous. Our shih tzus try to bite them through the cage bars, so they have never been introduced. I'm still debating on my catahoula. Right now he pays no attention to them.

My rat has met all 4 of my dogs and all 10 of my cats, and they get along great (well except one dog). But he's very friendly with them all.

Also, I just checked. My rat, Tristan...is female.
