Just to point it out, your 16 (at the oldest, just going by your profile, I actually picture you being younger). When I was dealing with multiple reptiles (though probably more than you are looking to have) I was easily spending $200 a month just feeding the 30sum geckos. You just said you're always home, aka you don't work. I put over $700 into vet visits trying to rehab a normal leopard gecko that could have been replaced for 15-20 bucks. Why? Because its a living thing, it deserved a chance. In six months I had over $7000 invested into my geckos, and that's nothing near what some people here invest in them. You obviously don't have a lot of knowledge about the reptiles you want to take in. A sand boa wouldn't be able to strangle your thumb enough to discomfort you, let alone a baby. Anyways, a few hundred in savings isn't near enough to take on multiple animals. I recently traded off all of my reptile for other misc items, and hadnt bought any more until this past week when I invesabington good chunk of money into a couple of ball pythons, and I got bottom dollar deals on them that are unheard of. I have about $1500 in savings specifically for vet visits for two snakes in case of emergency, and I'm still shying away from taking on more than the two balls for now. A side note on me: I'm 24, I have about $300 a month in bills as I don't pay rent, and my annual salary is right around $55k, so I'm not hurting too bad for what the economy is and being a young guy with no college education, but I know it can become very expensive owning a lot of reptiles, I've been there before. Be honest with yourself. A single vet visit can land you over $1000 if the circumstances are right, can you afford that, or would you just let the gecko die? You're a kid who is new to this world, I think we all know the most probable answer to that.

I've saved money up from odd jobs "was 15-16" before to get an animal "it was a hedgehog"
what you can do is save up for supplies tank, heater, supplements, & etc.
when you already gots the stuff people would be more comfortable sending you critters
