Use some antibiotic ointment and try to manipulate the skin flap over the raw wound so it will heal. If the skin flap stays that way, the scar will be a crescent. If the skin comes off, the skin will heal smooth and colorless.

Poor guy. I agree try to keep it clean.

Clean it, I would use a Q-tip with antibiotic ointment and apply it in the direction of the skin flap like Marcia mentioned. I would also use a non-adherent pad over it and then a flexible gauze around the body to keep it in place. Cleaning, applying the oinment and changing the dressing daily.Any pharmacy sells these supplies if you don't have them. Also paper tape.

Why didn't you put him in an empty trash can while cleaning out his tub? You surely have trash cans in your house. That would work as an interim solution. Never put males together.

You never know when animals must be moved from your home at a moment's notice. Be prepared with temporary containers for all pets. Storage tubs and plastic deli containers are inexpensive and stack easily for storage. Had you been adequately prepared for a possible situation, this would have not happened. Now you know why it has been said over and over to never put males together.

Ever put a male with a female? They don't waste much time. Not sure how you thought it would work but.. Wait for the ring girl and a bell? They NEVER exchange pleasantries. Poor thing. Looks painful, although I'm guessing by design, its someone meant to slough off.

I would think if he has multiple geckos he'd have a quarantine/hospital tank at the ready.

You were aware that they fight, but you still did it...

I hope the animal is ok and YOUR lesson was learned not to do something like this again least you have a dead animal on your hands.
