Unless your on benefits they won't even see u with a hamster trust me I've tried all my family works including me and had to pay for a £700 bill for my dog it's really not fair
Don't wait till the end of the month if u carnt get the money soon then I would suggest taking her to a reptile rescue centre and I no that might sound abit sad but it's the best thing for the animal at the end of the day
Can I ask where u live

Please don't sacrifice the animal because you can't afford a vet. Once you make the decision to invest in an animal you have to be ready to make the commitment to be responsible for it's wellbeing. If you can afford the animal and the setup then the vet bill has to be workable.

hey man, I agree a wee bit thin, but I have a 2 week old newborn one from an egg, from my sisters gecko, she/he ate 3 locust last night I was worried cause it didn't eat for 2 weeks, but was happy it did yesterday, may I add you have the same tank as me :) great starting tank for 1 gecko anyway back on track, mine is 2 weeks old though sometimes they just need to learn to hunt, but at 8 weeks old from a pet shop the gecko should know how to by now, other thing you could try is get a lid or something put a cricket in, (you may need to pull off the hopper legs) and wait, come back in an hour and see.
