I have a 2 year old female leo. I don't think I've changed anything, but last night when she shed, and also about 2 1/2 months ago when she shed she seemed to be having some issues. (she did have a normal shed about a month ago and every other time except last night and 2 1/2 months ago). The one 2 1/2 months ago I thought was my fault since we were in the process of moving and her tank wasn't quite as humid in the places it's supposed to be humid. She got some skin stuck on the tip of her nose and couldn't get it off, so I had to help.
This time, it was plenty humid. I knew she was going to shed last night, but I woke up about 3 hours after she had finished only to find a large piece of skin on the left half of her head all the way back to her neck (again stuck to her nose) left she couldn't get off. So I worked that off. This morning I decided to check to be sure she didn't have any still stuck anywhere else, so I pulled her out and she had skin still on 3 or 4 little toes on her back feet. With her fighting me every step of the way, I soaked the skin and worked it off so hopefully her toes will be fine.
My question is... since she recently has been having issues shedding, is there anything I need to worry about (medically or otherwise) or does that mean I will just need to stay up when I know she's going to shed to ensure none gets stuck?
