Recognizing unshed skin.

My little leo, Dr. Gonzo, just went through his first shed with me as his caretaker. I checked him last night for any unshed skin and to me he looks alright. My question is what do I look for, esp. on his toes since they're so small.

The main spots to check are on the toes, tip of the tail, and top of the head/nose. You will see it if it is there. It was just look like loose white skin.
