Will they change colors, or will they always be that bright?

Hello,

No this guys will not turn into garden phase ATB, they will keep there color but its possible they could develop some black spots or marks. The orange is keeping her color great with no black marks at this time.

The Red is keeping his color also but he has a few black marks.

Halloweens they will loss all their color and turn either brown or black.

Yellows always keep there color but they either stay bright or turn into a mustard color with black spots.

Reds are more trick because u want to know the background of the babies. If you have a gravid female from the Wild and she gives you red babies and everything else. Its a 50% chance they will not keep there color and turn garden phase. If you know the father and he is a colored atb they should keep there color.

Here is a pic of the mother and father- The parents do not belong to me.
Red is the female and Yellow Male.

WOW!! how much do those guys go for?

Hello,

It depends on the color, how bright the color, does it have black spots or black marks. Is it C.B, is it L/T or is from W.C mother.

This two I have are 3rd gen. C.B so they would be around $400.00 each.

Reds range from $175.00-$400.00 and oranges-125.00-$400.00

Here are a couple ATB thats Im selling. Not trying to sell anthing here just to give you an idea. Thx

Very nice, I had a normal ATB a year or so ago, and they will happily nail you when you stick your hand in their cage, lol, good thing their vision isn't all that great because their aim stinks!! lol

You got that right, I got to pretty much put the food right up to there mouth so Im not there waiting on them to finially hit the target.
Emerald can hit the target the 1st time with no problem, but they are not as agressive as ATb, I put my hand in my emerald enclosures all the time with no worries.

so your saying even though these guys are beautiful, they woulnt make very good pets?

ATB are to be viewed and enjoyed but not to be handled. They will always strike at anything IMO; the good thing is their aim sucks. Emeralds will strike when provoked enough; but generally they dont want to waste the energy because they only eat every 3-4 weeks as adults. ATBs will eat what ever you give them, live, frozen, pre-killed. ATB require little maintance, clear water, clear cage when they go and feed once a week.
