Anyone have one?? Saw one at the reptile exhibition I went to two weeks ago and was really taken by their interesting appearance! After getting my first leopard gecko I became really enamored with geckos, but these skinks look amazing!

Found the below picture on Google image search in case you haven't seen one of these cuties:

I have three of them...they're a great little species. :) They're quite timid and shy though, and not the most easily handleable, but I find with time and patience they can learn to tolerate you quite well. Care must be taken though, as they can stress quite easily. They're also quite secretive...you may not see them roaming about very often. They also have quite high humidity requirements. But...I got into them because I fell in love with their appearance and their docile little temperaments. They're very sweet and quite curious when you have them out and about, once they're comfortable with you and their environment. I plan on breeding them in the future. :)

Sounds like they're a little more advanced than leopard geckos :p

I just love how striking their appearance is though! A seller took one out at the show and it jumped out of his hand and proceeded to run across his table on top of all the plastic containers with the other lizards lol.

Cassi, can you put me on the list of people who want to buy a couple of your future babies please?!

Definitely! :) I know there's a shortage of these guys in Western Canada (especially CB ones), so I'm hoping to make this a long-term thing so I can eventually produce CB babies for those who want them.

I would love some too! In a few years when I have room to add some more species to my collection :) I've been interested in these guys for quite a while and can't wait to have some!

I have a female so far. They're very shy and I never see her out. But I love how they look. Hoping to get a male to breed.
