Red iguana help.

I might be getting a red iguana and I need to know how big they and how big their cage needs to be.any other help is appreciated!

They are just a color variant of the common green iguana, care is identical.

Yup, they are a green iguana, from a different side of the world is all. I have a female red iguana, shes no bigger then any green iguana her age, shes also VERY inteligent, one of the most inteligent iguanas I have ever seen, but it probably has nothing to do with being a red iguana. I have only had her 3 months now, and she will literally come to her cage door and climb right ontop of us to let us know she wants food and she wants it now.

Red Iguanas are the same species and are from the same side of the world as green iguanas..... the specie name is Iguana iguana

They get huge.. they are exactly the same as everyone has said above. I'd look into these animals before taking the plunge.
