red mealworms....

unfortunately there is a shortage of mealworms here in CA, I found some red ones and I was just wondering if commercially-dyed mealies are safe to feed to my precious pets......

I wouldn't hop into anything, because the dye may have bad effects. Do some research on them first and see if they are good for leos, if any info on the internet.

I get your situation though. During winters, the city is low on waxies and mealies, and at the time, my baby girl didn't like crickets, and still don't.

I tried looking them up on google...wow...no results...and I reworded it.

Well, if they won't eat anything else, or there is nothing else to feed them like crickets and other food, I guess you will have to go with them.
