One of my oldest hatchlings, Screech, always has red spots (actually kinda orange-ish) on the paper towel in her humid hide. It isn't blood... I have checked her over numerous times. I guess it could be mealworm but she eats them out of her dish every time I've watched her.
Also, her tub has a stronger "dirty" order than my other geckos. It is noticeable as soon as you pull her tub out, but isn't with the other 6 hatchlings.
She is in a 6qt Isis tub back-heated at 92F. She eats mostly mealworms now but started on roach nymphs, and is a pig. Food dusted with Repashy Calcium Plus. I haven't weighed her for a bit but she is growing like a champ. Normal poop with solid brown and white urate.
She hatched on 3/26/15 and I will get a current weight as soon as possible.
Anyone know why she is having these spots and smell? Does it warrant a vet visit? She seems completely healthy otherwise.
