So I thought I'd post a reintroduction as I haven't been on in a few years. I got my first leo in 2009 and got really attached to her. Only a few months after getting her she developed an infection in her tail. I was nursing her for probably another 2-3 months; medicating and force feeding on a regular basis. I eventually lost her and was absolutely devastated. After months of serious TLC she lost the fight
At that point I was so upset I couldn't get another but as murphy would have it I had to opportunity to adopt another leo this week! She came from a closed down pet store and was seized by animal control along with almost 200 other animals. The animal hospital where I work took the exotics and I finally got to take her home yesterday! No name yet but I'm really excited to have another leo at home.
