Replacing calcium

I was just curious as to how often you should change the calcium in the calcium dish, I know the stuff goes bad after about a year, but how often does it need to be replaced in the tank. As of right now I replace it once a week.

I think onece a week is too much. It kindof wastes the calcium. I do it about once every two to three months or when it runs out in the bowl. Which ever comes first. :D

I clean it about 1ce a month. I clean it so often cuz one of my geckos likes to go and walk through it and track it all over the paper towels and the tops of the humid hides. I think her tank mate is getting annoyed, because she has started sitting ON the calcium dish so Daisy cant get at it :D.

I meant once a month, lol, sorry. I mean the stuff has like no experation date and as long as they don't walk through it or use the bathroom on it and you put enough in there to last them more than a month then I think it's fine. But, some people's Leos actually do walk through it alot and use the bathroom on it so you would need to change it out more often. :D
