Mike and I went into a local pet store today, earlier in the week he told me about a Leopard Gecko there that looked about a year old that's legs looked like rubber and it's tail was the size of a pin.
Well today we went in there and I saw this gecko and OMFG!! It was the worst thing I have seen ever, I have bought geckos because I felt sorry for them ill admit but this gecko needs help or needs to be put out of it's misery there was a young person in there working but didn't know anything about it. You can clearly see it's suffering from MBD and you can see the ribs I'm guessing, plus it's on sand.
SO my question is where do I need to call to report this sorta thing in my area I live in Gastonia, NC but the pet store was in Shelby, NC. They had other reptiles that seemed to look ok but this gecko tore my heart apart I wanted to rescue it but I don't even think I could have done anything for it. But I can help maybe future geckos that enter that store.
