repti hammock

hello every one, ihave been doing my research about some products that i really like, one of them is the repti hammock and im probably gonna buy one on friday http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2752643 but im wondering what do you guys think about them???? another question that comes in mind will the sucktion cups come off if teh glass gets too warm or it wont affect it???? im planning on putting it in the warm side, also i know ill have to buy something so the could reach it and i was thinking i could maybe get this or something smaller http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11147242
or a hide that its easy o climb so godzilla could get t it

we have one for our gecko, and she uses it and seems to really like it! We have those rocks that they can walk on that stick to the glass of the tank with magnets, so you start them low by the floor and work them up to the hammock if you know what I mean. We have it quite low to the floor though because she is really lazy and once she has worked her way up to the hammock she just rolls off it because she cant be bothered to climb down, its pretty funny

thanks mine seems to like it so far, i didnt get the ladder thing they didnt have none but godzilla can reach it from 2 sides no problem

i wen to get some crickets and wax worms and swang by the decor section and i saw on for 6 bucks and i got it it was on sale cuz it was a restock

i saw some but didnt had enough money with me at the time so i decided to wait on them.


also i was thinking if i get those fake plants will it try to climb them or will it try to walk on them????

our gecko has about 6 fake plants on the sides of her tank because she feels more secure when she is hidden, so she didnt like the open glass too much. I guess it depends if your gecko likes to climb, ours does try to climb the plants but they cant hold her weight (because shes a little fatty) so they just un sucker from the glass and she falls with it, but it never hurts her because the fall isnt far, and she seems to enjoy it because she just keeps doing it, or she doesnt learn, one or the other

yea im pretty sure that it just depends on the type of personality your gecko has, when ours was a juvi she would climb up the plants and hook onto the mesh roof with her toes and climb across the roof hanging upside down

Some people say that their toes can get stuck in them, but I have never had one so IDK.
