Is anyone planning on being there?

Does anyone have any other info on what to expect?

I'm planning on at least taking my three and a half year old(she LOVES our Leo's) and figure that she'd really enjoy being at anything that would have other reptiles there.

I see two dates listed, once at the end of this month, and then again in December.

We're going to try to make it out since we live really close!

Do you guys not vend at shows? I thought you guys would be there since your so close... Do you know how many leo vendors are usually at the houston shows? This is my first trip to houston for a show

We can't make it today. We've got painters at our house finishing up the exterior trim but we're hoping to make it out tomorrow.

Landen, we usually don't vend at shows. We don't produce enough geckos to make it worth paying for a table. This year (because we were moving) we've only hatched 7 babies. LOL

I don't know of any other local breeders but sometimes K&N drives to Houston.

Great to meet you up there Landen!

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.

I'll post pics of the 2 new wee ones as soon as I get the camera I borrowed charged. Can't believe I borrowed a camera that died after 20 minutes at the show, heh.

Anyway, got a baby leo that was marked as 'super snow patternless albino.' The guy said he thinks it's tremper, but wasn't sure, since they were sent with him by the breeder. Guess I'll have to wait for him/her to grow up a bit and start in with some breeding to see what I can prove out. Should be an interesting project, especially if it ends up being male. Either way, (s)he should be a whole lot of fun, since she's pure white with bright red eyes.

Wife decided that one beardie wasn't enough(heh, not even 3 weeks, and she's already buying more...love it!), so she grabbed a leucistic beardie that had part of it's tail bitten off. Needless to say, 'Gidget the Migdet-Tailed Beardie' is already babied more than any of our actual children.

Landen, can you remember who bred the lil guy I got? I'm totally drawing a blank, but I know I'd seen the name before...just totally drawing a blank.

Anyway, I'll make sure to get pics posted ASAP!

It was good to meet you at the show too and I'm always ready to talk gecko's... That SS albino patterneless came from brett bohler(wichita ks), That's what the breeder that brought them had told me. That was definately a steal for what you got him for. I hope he eats and grows good for you, I don't usually feel comfortable selling them that small but many do. He looked very healthy though. I would have picked him up had you not already gotten him. Great find....

I've got to say that the Houston show rocked. We only came home with 4 gecko's (aside from my breeders). Thanks again for all that stopped by and we appreciate the business and compliments we recieved. Needless to say we will be vending the December show as well !! See ya'll there
