So, I am graduating in a month with a 4 year degree in animal science. My focus is on reproduction. I would love to eventually have a small business breeding leopard geckos (as a secondary income mostly). What career suggestions would you suggest in the mean time? I am in the process of applying to different good pet stores. What other jobs should i look into that will better prepare me for my small business? Basically i have done the basic studies, im looking for the best ways to put it to the test.
thanks

Get any job that will pay you something because it's going to cost to start breeding leos and you'll most likely lose money either at first or forever.

With a 4 year degree in animal science, why would you want a job in a pet store? I would be thinking more on the lines of working at an actual zoo! Are there any abound you?

That's kind of what I was thinking too... why not put that degree to work for you so you don't have to worry about your breeding program being profitable.

So true! I know too many people who threw their money away on collage, just to go to work at some meaningless low paying job! What's the point in going in to debt just to get a job that requires no education at all! And then having to pay off all of the student loans and what not on minimum wage!
