Reptile Tracking Program?

Do any of you guys know of a reptile tracking program that allows you to use a scanner to scan bar codes so that you can view that animal's records?

I know Degei Pro lets you do that but that program is $2000!!!

If I ever wanted to become a vendor at a reptile show I would want a program like this so I could put bar codes on the container that the animals are in and if the buyer wanted to see the records of the animals I could just scan the bar code and print out the records.

I don't know of a program like that, but unless you're going to be dealing in hundreds of geckos, it's just as easy to have a card for each gecko you're selling with the relevant info there.

I'll probably do that and if I do have a lot of things to sell I'll just assign each animal a number and I'll just have to use Degei and search for the animal's records and print them out during the show.
