I also agree about the whole "rescue thing" and is one of my pet peeves. The spots will probably fade. I got a Super Hypo from the pet store almost two years ago and all of her spots have faded.

Congrats on the pickup! Hope he/she turns out nice for you! As most others have said, it is still only a juvenile, so it will still have some changing and brightening up to do as it makes it's way into adulthood!

As far as what i consider it, i consider it both things... a pet store purchase, AND a rescue... a purchase because you bought an otherwise outwardly healthy looking animal, and also, because you DID rescue it from potentially unfavorable living conditions, that could have ultimately led to it's unhealthy wellbeing. People use words in different ways, and mean different things when they use them in different situations. The word rescue can mean different things based on who is using it and how it is meant to be taken from them, and you had good intentions in doing what you did, and good intentions in how you made your original post, so don't let other people's word's get to you about how you "should" have said things and this and that... you said what you said, and know how you meant it. When it comes down to it, it doesn't matter what other people consider it, it just matter's what YOU consder it.
