rewet the perlite?

One more question that I find very vague answers to online, when the eggs are incubating should I ever rewet the perlite? If so how do I know when I should? Also If i ever get the perlite too wet when doing this, is there a way to fix that besides just dumping it out and putting in new perlite?

If you ever need to rewet the media, I would set up a new container with moist perlite and move the egg. Although you shouldnt have to do this.
