is that the guy also referred to as "the poor man's leechie"? I was very tempted to buy one at the last reptile show I went to, but because I had no set up or knowledge I forced myself to leave without him.

He sure is cute. What did you name him?

A "poor man's leachie" is a gecko from the genus Geyhra. Almost all of these sold are actually G. marginata, but they are all too often sold as G. Vorax--there is only one true pair of Fiji Island G. vorax in the U.S.

The gecko in the pic is definately R. chahoua, and a gorgeous one at that...they are the best 'pet' gecko I've ever had the pleasure of keeping, and they're super cute to top it off :) If you truly love geckos, these guys are a must-have.
