Jim works at a prestigious law firm in a high rise building on the 32nd floor. On days when it is raining he takes the elevator all the way to his floor. On days when it is not raining however he rides the elevator to the 20th floor and walks the stairs the rest of the way. Since he is not particularly fond of exercise- what is the reason for this strange habit?

I'm usually a lurker on the boards (this is actually my first post!) but I just had to jump in and see if I'm right: Jim is really short, so on rainy days he has an umbrella to help him reach the button for the 32nd floor, but without it he can only reach the button for the 20th?
