Well it's over, she's now at peace and with her daddy. She was more Spanky's cat than she was mine in the last 5 years or so. I really didn't see much of her over this past year as she would hide most of the time not wanting to be bothered. I think she declined more after she realized he was not coming back and maybe she gave up on waiting.
When she was younger she was so playful and friendly, till Zach was born and this little hairless thing kept grabbing at her and pulling fur....LOL She never liked kids and I think as Zach grew she didn't like me much anymore since Zach was always with me. I have not told Zach yet because he was mad at me for putting her in the cat carrier over night. I think he knew it was time for her. Even my vet cried.
I will always remember my little girl that use to play fetch and basketball with a little yarn ball and loved mini marshmellows. Rest in peace Lady, I love you.
