I just want to add to this memoral page my Chinchilla Family, that died from acccidental Bug spray poisoning. Myst my very beautiful Mosaic female 2 years old and the mother of all the 5 babies(only 1-2 days old) and twin Boys, Snow( Mosaic male) and Icee (mosaic male) 3 months old and their special father Stormy Nights a normal grey male 2.5 years old. Stormy was our first baby from his mother Breezy( a normal grey that is still alive) and Velvet the father to him. Velvet is a Ebony( all black male) and he is still alive. They have a sweet looking normal grey female named Smokey who is only 2 months old and they only survived because they were in a different cage set up!! I feel terrible. My husband was using a organic bug spray that said it was safe for animals, yet I told him not to get so close to their cage. They died within 2 day one by one. It was just so terrible. and I will miss them. Chinchilla's are sweet little animals. And Myst was one of my favorites because how nice she was and how beautiful. She was mostly white with a spot of light grey on her back. Goodbye my sweet babies RIP Deb!!!

Deb-

OMG-I am so sorry to hear of your loss
:(

I also think that it might not be a bad idea when you feel up to it- to contact the company that makes the spray and let them know what has happened
It won't bring back your sweet babies but it might prevent the same thing happening to someone else

We are here for you if you need to talk/vent

I know this sounds horrible, but when I told my boyfriend about what happened to your little chins he said you should sue. I don't know if that would work, being that it said it was safe for animals, and I know it will not bring them back but maybe it will make them change their labels. You never know even if you contact them and say you are going to sue it may make them change the labels. I'm very sorry that you had to lose them this way. It is devastating to lose an animal that you love, but even more when they have not lived a full life.

You must be an emotional wreck! That is so sad. I'm so sorry that happened. I hope you will be able to prevent it happening to any other creatures. Hang in there.

How devastating. We had a very similar thing happen to our hairless guinea pig and babies a couple of years ago. It's just heartbreaking. We'll be sending lots of happy thoughts your way.
