RIP OLIVER

Oliver doesn't belong to my wife or me. Oliver was the only dog we dog/house sat for. We had the privilage to know him for a year. We meet him because my wife is a receptionist at a vetinary office. They needed someone to watch Oliver and their house for them for a week. We became good friends and ended up watching Oliver a good 6 times in the last year. He was 14 years old. He had some internal bleeding from around his spleen and he was too old too try to do surgery too fix it. He is now in Dog heaven chasing frisbies and running everywhere.

Awwwww... what a sweet boy! I'm so sad your friends had to say good-bye to Oliver after having him as their beloved companion for so many years. I know how empty our lives can be without our lifelong friends. I know you and your wife will miss him, too.

Yeah we miss him. I drove down the mountain and spent 30 minutes with them and Oliver waiting for the appointment. It was sad but they were glad I showed up to give them support. Oliver's dad Martin is supose to be emailing me or calling to make a day to watch Rugby and drink beer.

Rest in peace Oliver. It was really nice of you to go and support him and his owners, I'm sure that really meant a lot to them.

I'm so sorry for you and Oliver's family. It is great that you were there for them when they needed them and Oliver had someone that loved him when mom and dad weren't around.
