Ron Tremper Rack?

I recieved Ron Tremper's "The Herpetoculture of Leopard Geckos" for Christmas and was thinking about making a rack he explains how to make, with his reccomended materials. Has anyone ever used this system? Are there any rack links that are better suited for me? I want to make a rack thats houses 5/8 adults + juvenile colonies and 3/8 juveniles. Anyone?
