Roofing nails in feet do not make for good gardening...

This has just been one rancid couple of weeks. Aside from doing my best to take care of Edna, an ongoing adventure, I've had a cold and been sick, stress from being out of town, coming home to a stressed and bloated dog- Next week won't be any better as I have dysmenorrhea and endometriosis to contend with.

Top it off that today while trying to enjoy the warm temperatures and tend my garden, my foot finds an old, rusty, roofing nail. My shoe was stuck to my foot! So I managed to get the shoe off, pulled the nail from it and (like an idiot) promptly chucked it BACK OUT INTO THE YARD DX

The kitchen floor was then splattered with blood as I tried to find paper towels. Called my husband crying, not as much from the pain (but BOY did it hurt, 1/2 inch in and nicked bone, I believe), but just how utterly ridiculous things are becoming. Those times where you look up at the sky to cry, "WELL, WHAT'S NEXT?!"

We went to the health care center after I cleaned off the hole in my foot, the ball behind the big toe. I got a tetanus shot and came home. Thankfully because of my dysmenorrhea and endo, I have vicodin on hand to take care of the pain.

AUGH! Time to call today quits and go to bed >:{
