So, I always feel awkward taking pictures of people and their booths, so instead I took pictures of reptiles that wondered into my box!

I didnt get a chance to get a new camera before the show... but I DID get my camera cleaned, and I picked up a nifty 50mm lens, that I totally love... totally.

Oh. And I made myself a new light box, and got another custom light :)

I think the pics turned out pretty good!

Thanks everyone :) I always feel like I am learning and getting better, and the most recent pics [those bearded dragon babies] have to qualify as a personal best. They are a bit noisy, but I am really proud of them :)

Wow nice pics! I take pics as well. I hope to get my Canon XTi soon.

What camera are you using? and what glass(lens) you use?

I still have 3 unrelated pairs left if you decide to change your mind :main_rolleyes:

Thanks. I am using an older version of that camera, a Canon XT, and I plan to upgrade the body soon, tho as you can see, for being a few years old, it still works quite well ;)

And for some of them I used a canon 100mm and others I used a canon 50mm.

Thanks :) When you were asking for david, I didnt even recognize you hahah.

Hybrid ~ I think it has little to do with what camera you have, and more to do with knowing how to use the camera you have.

My biggest piece of advice : read your manual!

Second biggest piece: No matter the lighting, use a manual/custom white balance.

Lenses, light boxes, etc all come after those 2 things.
