The mealworms I gte from Pet,co come in a can of 50 filled with sawdust. Is the sawdust safe for the leos to eat? I try to brush it all of but I fear there may be some left over that they ingest.

it could be sawdust, however you might be mistaking with wheat bran, its what is used for food and bedding for many breeders. they shouldn't get any Massive Build-up of bedding on them. If they do they must be wet (in this case let them dry) however if there is only little bit blow on them or place him in a small dish with a lid and shake it off. good lucl

I agree with snakegirl. It's most likely wheat bran, the food that the mealworms eat.
