Saw my first tail shake!! Sooo cute!

Oh it was hilarious. I had been reading about feedings and many of you mentioning the funny tail shake they do just before the pounce. I'm a new gecko owner and hadn't seen it yet. I have 6 mos and 2 mos geckos. Well, today I got to witness the infamous shake and it was sooo cute. Henry was just about to pounce on his last cricket and he did this little tail shake then jumped. So funny . . hee hee

My one year old does it, but only when he's excited; and my friend just got a baby leo and when she does the shake her entire back end wiggles... so cute!!!

my 7 month old doesnt rattle her tail but she holds it up REALLY high

My male does it all the time and the first time i introduced him to our female they both stared at each other shaking there tales it was awesome.

none of mine do it anymore they are all over 1year but the males do it when its mating season and they are with the female , my blizzard kept waking me up the other night rattling soooooo loud at his girl I turned the light on them twice and he just froze and stared at me like "What , It wasnt me I swear" lol

I have yet to see my 2 girls do it! Puirely because they are lazy hunters and make no effort to hunt food. That and i have only had them 2 weeks and they only seem to want to eat mealworms because they pretty much don't eat anything that requires effort haha!

All three of mine do it, its so cute and when they strike they look so powerful to be so small, especially when they cover their body length going for a cricket in like .2 secs

My male is about 8 yrs. and only does it when he's after crickets. :laugh: So cute, like a little wildcat.
