Ummm.... I may be being silly..... But.... Why are YOU dealing with their insurance company? Anytime I've had to actually use my insurance company, all I would have to talk to is them, never had to talk to the other people's insurance company. Your insurance company should be the middle person doing to work. If not, then why are you paying them?

They are...sorta. I still have to give my account of what happened and stuff (done). They didn't pick up the car today. What a surprise.

Here's some photos. It's not the worst damage I've seen, and they might try to fix it on a newer car, but considering it's older and higher mileage they feel it's cheaper to buy me out.

The first shot I'm actually standing in the center of where my front SHOULD be. Next one is a side view. The last shows some shattered fiberglass. Pretty, huh? You also have to consider this car is a tank. Their car wasn't so pretty.

That's not soo bad. A couple of smacks with a hammer, some duct tape, and a coat of paint and it'll be good as new.

P.S. If you are in Chicagoland, why do you have TX plates?

I just drove it up from TX not long ago, and hadn't registered it here yet.

Sure, some duct tape and paint will make it look brand new...but what about the vacuum on crack sound, leaky fluids, and bassackwards steering?
