this is Shane, I picked him up from a breeder who had him posted on petfinder.com. He has a little defect, he has a hole in his eye. A common problem for his breed (Australian Shepherd) This is him with my daughter Alexas in his "Safe" spot that he has taken over. That's the second bathroom that's mostly used for storage for now. his bowls are in the unused shower stall so he can't make a mess and he will not leave that shelf...good thing it's sturdy.....oh yeah I got him for $100 with papers, with the agreement that he will be fixed due to his defect

ps I have really bad heartburn right now :main_thumbsdown:

I'm just hoping that rob won't kill me....I'm gonna use the "what did you get me for valentines day?" ploy....hopefully it works!

little fluffball is getting a bath today...and it seems he likes to rip up carpet...thankfully its in the room that the carpet will not be staying more than another month...and he likes socks!!! Any idea how to break this or should I just get him a rope bone?

LOL, this is great, the pup is scared of my daughter and anyone else but me...he runs straight back to the bathroom!!! I keep tellin alex to let him come to her, but she really wants to play with him!

Hey, I have a one eyed Aussie as well...

She had a detached retina at birth, resulting in blindness in one eye, and a few other minor eye issues but is a good dog. She is a blue like yours. The only thing I had a problem with was her blind side. If she was bumped into hard by another dog she turned real defensive and even scrapped around a few time with my old german shepherd at the time. So I never let her run with the kids unattended. She was very good with the kids as she got older but as a pup she did what she was bred to do which was corral and nip at heels when they ran around the backyard, so the kids really only played with her one she was older. She is 10 yrs old now and has great sight for a one eyed dog.
Cute pup, good luck!

yeah tell me about it...I'm hoping that rob gets attached soon so I can take that down...but it did shut him up about it for now....rob's having some symptoms of a nervous breakdown right now...last thing I want to do is send him over the edge..so I'm doing whatever he asks of me, for now

I'm even reducing my reptile collection a little...I'm prolly only gonna have 3 small groups of leos and a 1.3 or something of cresties

mwahahahaha so far so good, I think that Rob may be warming up to the pup. He has a nickname for him now, every so often plays with him and takes pics!! And anyone who talks to me enough knows that he's a pic fiend especially for Jerry Lee...Here's a pic that Rob snapped just before leaving for work

oh and yes that is a Chucky Doll

UGH, my mom keeps asking me to give him to her, I swear, everytime I get a dog I like, she just has to have it, cause she looked all over for it!!

She did that with the cocker spaniel I had a while back, and since she had to put her dog down I gave in, and Rascal is with her now...and he's also semi psychotic now too!! I don' think she'd be able to handle a herding mentality
