scared gecko

Hello!

I bought a giant day gecko about 2 weeks ago and the stuff there said to me that they received this gecko apron 6 months. I don't know how old is she. how can i figure it out?


1 more thing…when i pass near the terrarium she's getting scared, but i move slowly i can feed her from my hand…she's not coming on my hand, only catch the food and run. she also lick my finger if i have some fruits shake.


can i tame her if she have 1 year old?

Giant day geckos are not really a handable gecko, they are more for viewing. Like any species they do have different temperaments. We have some that will let us put our hand right up to them and others that run and hide when we walk up to the cage.

I've read on the net that if i'm watching her while she eating, in time will get used to me.it's true?

Anyway i will wait, maybe in some time she's getting used to me.
