Hey guys hope all is well out in gecko land I know its good here chili but good. But the reason I'm here is that I have pet store pickups supper muddy waters. And I say supper muddy waters because I have been trying to figure out there morphs witch I have found is next to impossible when they look nothing like a morph they should look like. What I'm trying to figure out is whats the best way to find out what genes my geckos have. Now doing this so far I have what looks to be about 4 to 5 morphs in each of my geckos is there any way to tell what is the best sure fire way to tell what they are. Like i said they are pet store pick ups I have had for a while I have no papers just cute fat devils I'm looking into. Thanks guys I'm just curious If there isn't really any way to tell it dose not take away from them I purchased them because they look cool and I have one of each type I have seen.

There is no way to know what genes they have that don't show up. For example, if they have a single gene for albino (which would make them "het" for albino) there is no way to know without test breeding them (breed it to an albino and if you never get any albino offspring, then it doesn't have a gene for albino). Test breeding has problems because you will produce even more muddy water geckos. The best thing to do is to post pictures here of the geckos (as viewed from the top) and we'd be able to tell you what genes they are expressing.
