My crestie is having, for lack of better word(s) a seizure. She seems fine, but when I go to pick her up or she exerts to much energy, she flips out! Her mouth hangs open really wide and she starts convulsing, rolling and flipping around, until after a few minutes she stops, her eyes glaze over, and she stops breathing. I don't know what to do! I've never seen or heard of anything like this before! Help! This is probably the fourth time it has happened today, and I'm worried that if it happens again it could be the last. I have alson noticed that her eyes are extremely sunken in, yet during the seizure they almost bulge and her pupils get larger. I need Help!

It might be MBD related. If she opens her mouth again look inside at the roof of her mouth there should be 2 calcium sacs on it if they are gone thats probably the issue then its off to the vets then for a shot and treatment. WHat have you been feeding her?

IF the calcium sacs are full they should be white in color. Black might indicate no calcium. If I were you I'd feed calcium dusted cickets with D3 and put a UVB bulb over the tank to help with absorbtion. Otherwise off to the vet. Good luck!

I am so sorry for your loss. We lost a baby crested a couple months ago. He had some sort of neurological disorder that caused him to have seizures. The herp vet said that there was nothing that could be done.
