selective breeding of mealworms?

so ive noticed a decided size diferance between the aliens. and after looking at a very small sample (about ten) it looks they follow a standard gaussian distribution. im going to be seperating them by size and hopefully breed a small size group and large size group. i bet after a couple generations of this it will be apparent.

anybody tried this?

I don't know this for sure, but I read something about male and female beetles being of different sizes. Just make sure you're not keeping the males and females apart.

Also, aliens are larger the better they eat. If you notice, the mealworm that is big will, will morph into a big alien.
