I was wondering, with this weather that is about to hit, what should i do if the power goes out? I don't have a generator yet for my two geckos. In the future, what would be a good generator to get for a beginning breeding business in case of loss power?

You could get some cheap 48-hour or 72-hour head packs. That's what my friend did after her's went out. Although, the gecko was fine after over 5 hours without power, but just in case it's out for over a day. They're pretty cheap.

I can't answer the generator part though. XD

If our power goes out we will move them all to the basement where the temp is a steady 65 whether the air/heat is on or off -or- move them into the family room where the fireplace is. You could also move them to an internal room with no windows and toss a blanket or sheet over their enclosure to try and keep the heat in. We don't have a generator either, so can't help there. Hope you electricity stays on.

Generally, unless power is out for more than 24 hours, it's nothing to worry about. I just crank the heat up a bit and keep it around 75 in the herp room and they're fine. Beyond 24 hours you can use heat packs, or water bottles filled with hot water. I have a battery pack for my incubator and that's the only thing that would concern me really.
