She freaked out!

So i have what i thought was the calmest gecko iv got she was sat in my hand and moved up my arm and stayed there for a good 5mins then she just freaked out ran into my chest and ran back up my arm and jumped on to the floor ( was was sitting at the time so she didnt fall far ) and she was waving her tail and wouldnt let me near although i did eventual pick her up to put her back, Has anyone else had this happen to them?

honestly its the weirdest thing any of mine have done, and what ever spooked her DAMN their quick at running!

I have one crazy one. Never been aggressive or bitten me but hates being handled. Literally wants to fly everytime I get him in my hand. I just had to face the fact that he doesn't like being handled and I'm okay with that. Has a great personality

See the thing is she doesnt mind being handled i think she may have seen her reflation or one of the other geckos and freaked ><

Yup, this happens a lot. They are calm for a long time, however, they realize after awhile they aren't in their home and then, panic. That's my take on it.

i think your right there Gregg i probs shouldnt handle her for so long its a shame as i love me geckos so much >< haha

I've not seen that behavior before in my girls, though they're fairly used to being taken out and riding around the house on my shoulders. They do start a bit at random sounds they've not heard before - maybe some kind of movement or loud noise (not entirely loud to us though) startled her.
