Jess, I can't tell you how much it upset me last night when I heard this. I really was pulling for her...just talking with you on the phone was heart wrenching.

oh no hun *hug* I'm so sorry, I've been kinda silently following your's and Kiya's story and it honestly startled me to see this here just now =( I was hoping that maybe help from the slurry would help give her some energy to fight whatever was making her ill, or at least help her hold on until you could get her into a decent vet.

I lost one of my girls last year, I have NO idea why she died though, I just came home and she was upside down in her worm dish, so I can understand how you're feeling right now, but she isn't in pain anymore and she is in a better place now. Plus, just like I had Kaida to help me move through Leonith's death, you have Ares to help you ^^ so that's good. I'm sure you'll take wonderful care of him, especially after seeing how you cared so much for Kiya.

I am so sorry to hear that your little girl did not make it. It is hard to loose something that we love so much. She will never really be gone. She lives on in your heart and in your memories of her. It is hard but when they are in such pain and suffering sometimes the end can be a blessing. Take comfort in knowing that her wonderful little spriit is free now. She was lucky to have been loved and cared for by such a caring person. Best wishes.
