SO Geekow, who I believed to be older than my newly sexed male Dandilyon now seems to be showing signs of being male as well... I will post some pictures below- sadly, you can't see that there is a chevron there but both sexes do have one which makes it harder to tell...

If Geekow is male, then is it normal for them to not want to eat right after they mature because nothing I do will get him to eat... And he usually eats 10 large meal worms and now he won't eat at all...

Thank you for your help!!!

Def male. Glad you didn't find it out the hard way by putting him in with another male!

If you have him in with a girl of course he's going to be distracted and not want to eat. Males can loose a lot of weight if they're constantly being bred. ;)

I do notice once mine reach the ~5 month line they don't seem to eat quite as much. Possibly, because they're not growing as rapidly as they would as hatchlings who are ravenous eaters.

Well, he used to be housed with Dandilyon who was a male but I separated them about 1.5 months ago because Dandilyon stopped eating- which I thought was because Geekow was female and he was doing the "pretty girl, pretty girl" thing...

It might be that he hit about 5 months... hmmmm... Well, in any case, he has food in is tank so he can eat if he wants to...

Also, could he not be eating because his tank is near another males tank?
