Shed skin under microscope

If you ever wondered what your little cuties shed skin looked like magnified...here you go! lol

Highest Magnification (400x)

I think it might have been more detailed if I used some sort of dye. This particular shed skin sample came from under the neck of my boy Ripsi. The scales there are smoother and less bumpy.

I have my own microscope at home lol. I plan on using it to do my own fecal floats and stuff like that at home for my pets.

I got mine off of eBay. It was around 60 bucks! It has good magnification and everything.
