Shed stuck on face...again

Just a week ago my leo had shed stuck on his face, which I got off with a q-tip. He shed again yesterday and now has a little more shed stuck on the face. There is a tiny bit stuck under his eye, which I am trying to get off first before it becomes a problem. He is not as cooperative as before so I havn't made much progress. Any other ideas on how to remove shed on the face besides a wet q-tip and a moist humid hide?

I've been having this problem lately, too- you could try tearing up some paper towel, wetting it, and draping it over the gecko's head (like how they do towels at the spa). Mine seemed to take to this ok, possibly because her eyes were covered? Then after she'd soaked for a while I rubbed/peeled it off in the Q-tip method. This way you need less Q-tip rubbing time.

I used to have it on the warm side, but he stopped eating (not enough room left for him to go to sleep in a dry warm place?), so I moved it back to the cool side. I have it half over the UTH now to get it more humid. He got the shed on his eye off, all thats left is the nose area. He is now using his back legs and scratching at his neck (like a dog) and clawing at the ground. Im going to left him relax a little before peeling off the rest. If I don't have it off by tomorrow, ill try the paper towel method.

Shed my skin

Many of the shedding problems
are from need of "help me to shed" furniture.
I make a inexpensive item that seems to help a lot.
Piece of PVC pipe length. Slice it across the hole area making
two tunnel like pieces. They will use it as a hide, enter and do circles
rubbing the tunnel sides when shedding..............and when you see
that they are going to shed you can even mist a burst in the tunnel.
Be careful of too much humidity misting their tank. Too much can cause respiratory problems...Take care. HJ

How often are you misting the warm hide? This should be misted about 3 to 4 sprays every other day. Hides dry out very fast.
