My male is obviously about to shed. He is currently walking around rubbing his head on the brick hide and everything else in sight as a cat would rub its head on you seeking attention. Is this normal behavior?

Yes and he's now climbing into it. And looks like he's successfully pulled it off his head. Should I help and Peel it off or let it happen naturally? Also do I remove it or let him eat it?

Let him do it naturally. By morning he should be done just check to make sure there isnt any stuck on his feet or toes and his tail. He will probably eat it but if not you can remove it.

Absolutely DON'T help him peel it off. He knows when its ready to come off and you could prematurly peel off shed when the skin under it isn't ready to be exposed yet. 99% of the time they eat their sheds, there's a bunch of nutrition in it for them, let him eat it. He likely won't want his regular food for a day or 2 before and after his shed so don't be put off if he doesn't eat his regular meals for a few days. Some bits are harder for your leo to get off than others. I always do a shed check on Eros 24 hours after he sheds to make sure it's all off. He's had some stuck on his head before as well, I don't peel it tho, I remoisten his moist humid hide and see if he can get it off by the next morning... he usually does, I've only had to remove shed once from his head that he didn't get off around his nostrils, the tip of his tail and a couple toes once or twice.

Yah, I swear, there was this time with Rin where I wanted to take a pic of her shedding, ran down to get the camera, and when I came back upstairs she'd already finished...I just kinda stood there, stared at her, and shook my head XD Haven't had to help her yet but...obviously I might have to. Just let him alone, my rule of thumb is that if they don't finish shedding after 1-2 days you can give them a "soak" (and I use the term lightly) to aid in the shedding process.

She didn't want you to watch her change her clothes :)

That's neat they shed that fast... eros is such an oaf he isn't modest at all... he'll take his clothes off in front of god and everybody and usually fall on his side or chin a couple times in the process :)
