Hello Everybody,

I have a problem 3 of my gecko's still have some shed on there toes
so i have tried a moist papertowl and gently trying to get the stuck skin of but it is going very difficult to get the skin off
i have also tried to give the feet a little bath but that had no effect
now i ame using '' ZM repti shedding aid'' now i have some of the skin off but there is still some left
now is my question is there a better way to do this
because i think my gecko's will have a lot of stress by doing it this way

and what i use in my moist hides is vermiculite

The best way I've found is just soaking. Use lukewarm water (31-32C) and soak the toes for 10 minutes. If it's still not soft enough to remove wait a little while and repeat. Eventually the dead skin will get soggy enough to easily come off.

Hey since you guys are on the subject, how big of a window is there to spot a stuck shed on the toes before it does damage?

when i got my gecko he had skin stuck tightly around his front arm cutting off circulation (mainly the reason i bought him that moment).. i constantly put warm water on it with a que-tip until it easily came off after 2-3 days and thankfully no damage was done
