I was shipped a little female a while back that was only 5 grams when she was sent to me. I dont know if she was super stressed from shipping, or changing homes, or who knows what else. Right after she got to me she started to shed and just couldnt pull it off. She got lethargic and stopped eating, but the skin never broke and I really thought I might lose her. All the while I was misting her hide and trying my best not to pull the skin off for fear of hurting her. After about 5 days I gave up and rubbed her down with a wet paper towel hard enough to break away the skin, but still trying my best to be soft and careful. As soon as it was off her eyes she was like a different gecko. All the skin came off and she started eating. However I was afraid I was going to have to do this everytime she shed. Today I came down to check on everyone and she has the tiniest bit of skin stuck to her upper lip and looks bright as can be. She shed on her own! Im so excited I just had to share.

Congratulations. It is always hard to see your leo not doing what you think they should. Worrying about them until you see them get it right is a hard thing for a good pet owner.
