Shedding together?

This is weird, but I have two geckos in my classroom - a large adult female in one vivarium, and a smaller juvenile female in another cage. The last two times they've shed, it's been not only the same DAY as each other, but within MINUTES of each other. Is that normal, or just some sort of freaky coincidence?

Sounds like a coincidence to me. As far as I know, shedding is an individual thing--they shed when they need to heal skin quicker, when they "outgrow" their new skin, and such. Has to do with the gecko itself, not a group activity lol
