Hey how long does it normally take for leos to completely shed? and how long should i wait for it to do it on its on b4 i help him? how long is too long to wait? Mine has only shed 1 time since ive had it and i think its about to again soon. That 1st time it took about 2 hrs and i went back and it still had lower half of its shed to come off so i helped it, cause it had been to hrs and being the 1st time i got worried. all came off easy with me helping though.

i would wait a day or two and let the gecko try to get the shed off his/herself. Just make sure there is not any shed left on the toes. you can soak your gecko in luke warm water for a few minutes to help losen the shed.

I agree, we usually don't have problems with shedding, but when our gecko took three days and still had shed on his body, we gave him a warm water soak for 30 minutes, and then gently rubbed the skin off.
