SHEDDING!

Hi everyone,
My gecko shed the other day and now, a few days on she still hasn't completely shed on a couple of her toes. It is literally just the toe and i have made sure her humid hide is always moist but nothings changing! I started to try to pull it off with tweezers after she'd been in the humid hide, but it seemed well and truly stuck and i don't want to end up pulling a toe off!! :main_no:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
:)

Try using a dampened cotton swab. I had to do this with my leo and it worked pretty well. You may have to wet it a couple of times though. Don't just let it stay on there because then she really will lose one of her toes.

I have to help with toes after every shed. She just can't seem to nibble them off on her own. Sometimes there's a bit on the tip of her nose, too, but the toes are the big issue. I've heard that leftover skin on there too long can make toes fall off... I always take care of hers right away, don't know how long before it becomes a problem so I don't want to risk it.

Mine gets irritated when I use tweezers, though. She seems much more comfortable when I gently use my own fingernails, which aren't long.
