My 10 month old Lily lost interest in eating for a month. Then I bought some wax worms through advice through this forum. She was immediately interested in them, and I fed her 2. Then I fed her the remainder of the mealworms that were in her dish, about 8. Then one final wax worm to make up for her month fast.
A few days later I have tried to feed her fresh mealworms, and she wants nothing to do with them. I then fed her one wax worm, which of course she gobbled right up. Then I tried a mealworm again, she ate one, then lost interest in any more...
Uh oh?
I know it's the time she may be ovulating (if she's old enough for that yet). I tried to see if I can tell by how her underbelly looks but I can't really tell.
Maybe she has lost interest in mealworms and wants me to buy something else? I know it's not good to feed a lot of wax worms... how much is too much?
